The Doctrin Of Islam and the Others

The Doctrin Of Islam and the Others

The Doctrin Of Islam and the Others

Malignant  campaigns are launched respectively against Islam and its adherents ; now ,  having failed to blur the white face of Islam they began to make the Islamic methodology a target for their fakes ; they claim  that  the Islamic methodology hatch an antagonistic  generation taking the behaviour of some Islamic group as a base though it is exception . The fiercer  these campaigns are , the more intact  and useful these rules are .

In this connection we should bear in mind that it not fanaticism if you adhere to your conviction and it is not religious tolerance if you try to impose your conviction by force

The approach of Islam in this connection is that we are to adhere strongly to our religion and deeming the other doctrines invalid and in the same time we should be kind to the others , give them good treatment , and be fair with them ; we should try to take them by hand to the straight path of Allah only for the pleasure of Allah .

God says in this connection what means" And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our God and your God is One, and unto Him we surrender." ( Al-Ankabout :46)

In this verse , we are ordered to believe in Allah's unity and His oneness and to call for the belief in him , Also as the holy verse shows  ,we can notice that we are ordered not to argue with the people of the holy book in any way save the best way of etiquette and manner . This reflects how much Islam never holds the approach of grudge and fanaticism as a base in dealing with the other but rational thinking and cogency was the ground on which the Islamic approach stands .

Since it takes on the form of a fierce mental war aiming at distorting the ever-shining Islamic facts which , in its turn , may affect the believability of Islam , let's hold a comparison between these religions and we leave the whole matter to you to be the judged

Killing women and animals

The bible "

  • And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: "
  • Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

Talmud

  • '" Gentiles habitations are impure like a barn as they are dogs and pigs "

Islam : in his famous advice to the army leaders , Abu-Baker used to remind the army leaders of the immortal  ethics of war which is " you will find people who confined themselves to God , leave them to what they claimed , those who show their infidelity , leave not them   ; Don't kill a woman , ; Don't kill a child ; don't kill the old ; Don't uproot a tree ; Don't devastate a habitation ; Don't slaughter an animal except for food ; Don't burn or drown palm trees ; Don't loot ; Don't be coward .

Marriage

The Bible :

  • If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her. (Deuteronomy :25:5)

  • Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.(43:3)

  • Only the Jews are human while the gentiles are animals
  • Only Jews stems from Allah , as the son stems from his father
  • Only the Jews are more loveable than angels ; whoever slap a Jew surely like who slap the Providence

Islam

  • God says in the Holy Quran what means "And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our God and your God is One, and unto Him we surrender. AL-Ankbout :46)
  • God says in the Holy Quran what means " Say (unto the People of the Scripture): Dispute ye with us concerning Allah when He is our Lord and your Lord? Ours are our works and yours your works. We look to Him alone. ( Al-Bakera : 139)

Taking one's life

Bible

  • And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute. (Joshua -16:10)
  • "And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-bosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.( Samuel (2) -4-12)  ( slaying , abducting and enslaving )
  • And after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them: and David took Metheg-ammah out of the hand of the Philistines. .( Samuel (2) -8:1)

Talmud :

  • It is narrated in the Talmud " A man who  sheds  the blood of non- Jews is surely , by so dong, gives an oblation to God

Islam

  • The Prophet said, "Avoid the seven great destructive sins." The people enquire, "O Allah's Apostle! What are they? "He said, "To join others in worship along with Allah, to practice sorcery, to kill the life which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause, (according to Islamic law), to eat up Riba (usury), to eat up an orphan's wealth, to give back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting, and to accuse, chaste women, who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers.

The holy Quran

  • "Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not, aggressors. ( Al-Bakera :190)
  • ·" Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not, aggressors. ( Al-Bakera :68)

(5) woman position

The Bible

  • And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.( Zechariah -5:8)
  • For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. (Corinthians :11-7)

Talmud

Islam:

  • The prophet says "it is to the widow-not to her sponsor - to decide her marriage and the virgin is to be consulted , her consent is to be expressed by her silence

  • "mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord Who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them twain hath spread abroad a multitude of men and women. Be careful of your duty toward Allah in Whom ye claim ( your rights ) of one another, and toward the wombs (that bare you ). Lo! Allah hath been a Watcher over you. ( Al-Nasa : 1)

Equality between man and woman

  • God says in the holy Quran what means " Whosoever doeth right, whether male or female, and is a believer, him verily We shall quicken with good life, and We shall pay them a recompense in proportion to the best of what they used to do. ( Al-Nasa "97)

The right of woman in political life

  • God says in the holy Quran what means " Hide not testimony. He who hideth it, verily his heart is sinful. Allah is Aware of what ye do. "

Allah

  • In the Talmud of the Jews " If God makes perjury , he needs who can relieve Him from this oath , it is narrated that that some oneheard God saying " who can absolve me from my perjury ?" ;this man didn't ; the rabbis considered this man a donkey as he did not absolve God , so an angel resting between the earth and the heaven is made to absolve God from his oaths and avows, when necessary.
  • Also , among the many lies weaved against God , Talmud says " God regretted that He left the Jews in miseries and , for this , He slaps His face and cries ; two drops of His tears falls in the seas causing a sound heard from one end of the earth to the other and this cause the earth to shake frequently and as a result quakes arise
  • God owned up his sin in his declaration of destroying the temple , so He kept crying and roaring like a lion in one third of the night saying " perish I am as I allowed my home to be devastated and my temple to be burnt down and my sons to be looted …….!!!!!
  • In the Talmoud , the day is twenty-four hours ; in the first one third He sit to study the canon , in the second one third , He governs ; in the third one third , he feeds the world and in the last one third he sit to play with the whale

The Bible – Jesus ( the god ) is hungry

  • And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.( Mathew 4:2)
  • ·Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.( .( Mathew 21:18)
  • And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: ( Mark 11:12)

Jesus ( God ) thirsty

  • There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

Jesus ( God ) sleeps

  • ·I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
  • ·And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? ( Mark -4:38)
  • Then an angle appeared in the sky to reinforce him ( Luke -2:43)

Jesus (the god ) manageable

  • The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth

Islam

The Holy Quran

  • .And I have said: Seek pardon of your Lord Lo! He was ever Forgiving. ( Nooh : 10)
  • ·. And of mankind is he who would sell himself, seeking the pleasure of Allah; and Allah hath compassion on (His) bondmen. ( AL_BAkra :207)
  • And when he turneth away (from thee) his effort in the land is to make mischief therein and to destroy the crops and the cattle; and Allah loveth not mischief.( AL_Bakra :205)
  • Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal ( AL-Omran :2)
  • Lo! nothing in the earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah.
  • He it is who fashioneth you in the wombs as pleaseth Him. There is no God save Him, the Almighty, the Wise( AL-Omran :6)
  • .Unto Allah (belongeth) whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and whether ye make known what is in your minds or hide it, Allah will bring you to account for it. He will forgive whom He will and He will punish whom He will. Allah is Able to do all things. (. ( AL_Bakra :284)
  • . Lo! This verily is the true narrative. There is no God save Allah, and lo! Allah is the Mighty,, the Wise ( Al-omran : 206 )
  • Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. The Beneficent, the Merciful. Owner of the Day of Judgment, ( Al-Fataha )

The conclusion

To talk about this subject , one will go through many ramifications . However , the holy texts and the historical evidence suffice , Islam is innocent of the grudge or misconception and the historical evidence is too much in this connection . Out of their devotion to the truth and  Wishing no appreciation from Moslem and fearing not any humiliation from Moslem , the unbiased non-Moslems thinkers recorded their witness to history .Contrary to this , the unbiased -when reviewing the history of the non-Moslems  treatment towards those who are not their co-religionists -will find unspeakable persecution that stigmatized the history of humanity- that oersecution that Moslem are still suffering under its yoke in Palestine and Iraq .

How wonderful and ridiculous when the persecuted envisaged as the criminal who jeopardizes the humanity in the time when the tyranny who is equipped with all the arts of war envisaged as the sponsor of humanity and its freedom .

What condoles us most is that God surely knows who stir the corruption and invent the lies .

The woman position

There is much misunderstanding and confusion between the meaning of fanaticism and tolerance on the part of bigots and those who unwillingly come under the influence of  those  bigots , the reason behind such confusion   is  to put a gap between the Moslems and their religion on the pretext of intolerance and accepting the other's belief

PROPHECIES ABOUT THE HOLY PROPHET Of ISLAM

PROPHECIES ABOUT THE HOLY PROPHET Of ISLAM

By: Seyeed Saeed Akhtar Rizvi

With an introduction By: Magdy Abd Al-Shafy

And lo, it is in the Scriptures of the men of old.( The holy Quran )

Prophet Mohummed is mentioned in every divine book , this is not only because he is the greatest of all , though he is , but also because he will be the key to the way of God . God has given the evidence to all nations that he is a prophet , years may erode facts , may blur evidence , may send very important events into oblivion , but the event we have is not like this , it is Mohummed . It is Mohummed the mercy of all creatures . All creatures testified to his prophethood . Once an idolater came to ask the prophet  " How could I know that you are prophet ? " the prophet answered him saying " if you call this tree to come where I stand , will you believe ? " the man answered in affirmative . Then the prophet called the tree which came cleaving the earth till it stood before him and the man believed in his prophethood . No one can deny that a trunk that he used to stand on preaching people was heard to moan when he left it to a pulpit; it did not cease moaning till the prophet batted it , the moon testified to his true prophehood when the idolaters came to ask him to split the moon and , through the power of God , the moon did split and that what NASA scientists assure saying that the fault line on the moon is a strong evidence that the moon was split  long ago.

It is not strange when you hear that he was mentioned by his name in the Books of the old ; he was mentioned in the old scriptures of the old in addition to the  Torah and the bibles  . This is the evident to all nations ….stop thinking , he is the true  prophet , the last of all ; he is the capstone that Jesus talked about ; let's review this important article by By: Seyeed Saeed Akhtar Rizvi, Courtesy:

As the Holy prophet of Islam was to bring a universal religion for the whole mankind and as that religion was to continue unto the end of the world, all prophets in all regions of the world informed their followers of his advent and told them to accept his religion without any 'ifs' and 'buts. In many instances, they also gave the details of his personal and family life, so that the people may easily recognize him

It is necessary to point out that in many places, the good tiding about the Holy Prophet of Islam is followed by description of his family-members who were his successors. I have given some of such prophecies that several useful books have been written on this subject in past centuries. Important among them are:

  • Mir-aat-ul-Makhlu-quat, by late Molvi Abdur-Rehman Chishti of India. This book was written in 1041 Hijri. It contains translations from relevant parts of the sacred books of Hinduism.
  • Bassharat-Ahmadi, by late Molvi Abdul-Aziz, of Lucknow.
  • Anisul-Aalaam, by late Fakhrul-Islam, Mohammad Sadique. He was an Armenian and formerly a Christian priest. He knew Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Syrian, Armenian, Persian and Arabic. He accepted Islam because of his research in the meaning of 'Paracletos' whose coming is forecasted in the Gospel of St. John. He was convinced that it refers to the Holy Prophet of Islam.

His book in two volumes, in Persian, was published in 1891 A.D. It is a treasure of valuable research for all those who are interested in comparative religion; and almost all books written afterwards are based upon it, though few people have acknowledged this debt. The prophecies given here have been taken from these books.

BARM UTTAR KHAND Barm Uttar Khand is a book at Hindu religion. Late Molvi Abdur-Rehman Chishti (11th century of Hijra) translated it into Urdu, in his 'Mirratul-Makhluquaat'. According to that book, the famous Hindu Avtar, Mahadew told his wife, Parvati, all the events of future, while they were on the mountain, Kailash Parbat and Bishist Muni, his disciple, wrote it down. The relevant parts are translated here from Muqaddama Anwarul-Qur'an (by late Maulana Seyyed Rahat Husain Gopalpuri) pp. 40-43. Mahadewji says:

After six thousand years, the Almighty (God) will create a wonderful person among the children of Adam in Mundarne, which is between the seas (Arab is surrounded on 3 sides by the sea.). ... O Parvati, he will be from the loin of Kant Bunjh; (Kant Bunjh, means Servant of God, which, in Arabic becomes "Abdullah". Abdullah was the name of the father of the Holy Prophet) and he (Abdullah) will have the piety and knowledge of God like a river; so (from that river) will emerge a pearl. And the name of his wife will be 'Sank Rakhiya.' (Sank Rakhiya means 'Peaceful' which in Arabic is "Amina". Name of the mother of the Holy Prophet was Amina.) And he (i.e., Abdullah) will have read three books; and he will leave the fourth book after reading only, 'Alif, Lam, Mim ... O Parvati, he (i.e., Abdullah) will be a chief in his tribe; people from all villages will come to his door and will follow him. (Abdullah's son) will have no fear of the creatures; he will be very brave and having the knowledge of Allah, and his name will be 'MAHAMAT'. People will be astonished to see his style ... And he will not worship as the people of his tribe will be worshipping and he will tell people that "I have been told by that Almighty and Only One (God) not to indulge in such senseless worship; and I am not turning but to Allah; therefore, you should follow me." (Compare it with the ayat (13:36) of the Holy Qur'an, Say: "I am commanded to worship Allah, and not to join partners with Him. Unto Him do I call, and unto Him is my return.") O Parvati, MAHAMAT will teach his own shariat to all the creatures, by abrogating all ways of worships and all previous shariats; and he will try to make all people follow him. Gradually, countless people will come into his religion, and many of them will reach God. And as people use our Sakh era (i.e., era of Hijra), likewise, unto the end of the Kaljug (the last era) people will use the era of MAHAMAT. ... O Parvati, after him (after the death of Muhammad's son) the almighty who has none like Him, will give a daughter (Fatema, the lady of Paradise, the Chief of all the women.) to MAHAMAT who will be better than 1000 sons, and she will be very beautiful and matchless, and very perfect in the worship of God. Never shall she utter any wrong, and she will be protected from every sin big or small: and through her father she will reach nearer to God, that almighty (God) will give two sons (Imam Hasan (a.s.) and Imam Hussain (a.s.)) to the daughter of MAHAMAT, both will be handsome and beloved of God, strong, having the knowledge of God, courageous, brave and matchless in the deeds of virtue. And the Almighty will not create, after them, any human being having such perfection in hidden and known virtues.

The same two sons of MAHAMAT will be his successors; and they will have numerous children; and they will bring people into the religion of MAHAMAT day by day by their true arguments; and they will illuminate the religion of MAHAMAT and MAHAMAT will love them more than all his people, even more than his own daughter. And these two sons will be perfect in the religion of MAHAMAT: they will not do any work for their own pleasure, and all their utterances and deeds will be for the pleasure of the Almighty.

O Parvati, a few years after the death of MAHAMAT, some evil men will unjustly murder these grandsons of MAHAMAT without any cause: just for the sake of worldly greed; the whole world will become 'headless' by their death. Their killers will be Maliksh atheists, cursed in both worlds: they will have no love for MAHAMAT and will never get deliverance from Nark (i.e., Hell). But in appearance, they will remain in the religion of MAHAMAT, and gradually others also will follow them, and stubbornly will do many deeds against the way of MAHAMAT and his sons. Only a few people will remain on the path of MAHAMAT, majority will follow the path of those who killed the sons of MAHAMAT; yet in appearance they will be called followers of MAHAMAT; and in the last days of Kaljug (last era) there will be many of those hypocrites and will create disturbance in the whole world.

After that Mahadewji explains the appearance of Imam Mahdi; coming of Quiyamat and arrival into Paradise of Bibi Fatima together with her followers.

KALKI PURAN
In many holy books of Hindus, mention of coming of ten prophets, has been made. So far nine have come and Hindus await the tenth. The name, which is ascribed to this Tenth Prophet, is "Kalki Avatar" (Kalki Prophet). Descriptions and symptoms, which are found in the books exactly coincide with those of Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.)

Kalki Puran is one of the holy books of Hindus. It is written in this book that the reason why this prophet will be known as "Kalki" Avatar, is that he will remove Kalki (rust and darkness) from the hearts of the people, and will prevail over all the artifices.

It is also written that people of his community will be worshipers of God.

The name of the father of Kalki Prophet is written as 'Vishnuais" a combination of two words, Vishnu (God) and ais (Servant); both put to gather mean "Servant of God". This also is the meaning of Abdullah the name of the father of Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.).

The name of Kalki prophet's mother is "Somti" which means "Trustworthy", and the name of Prophet Mohammad's (s.a.w.a.) mother is "Amina" which also means "Trustworthy".

Further it is written that Kalki prophet will have three brothers, named, KAVI, SAMAT and PARAK.

  • Kavi means "wise" and same is the meaning of "Aqeel".
  • Samat means "Knowledge" and same is the meaning of "Jaafar".
  • Parak means "One who commands High Position", and same is the meaning of "Ali".

Aqeel, Jaafar and Ali, were three (cousin) brothers of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.).

The birthplace of Kalki prophet is mentioned as "Shambhal Nagri" - a name given to the Hejaz in Arabia."Sambhal" means, "Sand" and "Shambhal Nagri" means a country of sand or desert, which fits Arabian Peninsula perfectly.

Regarding Kalki Prophet, it is also written that he will worship in cave. It is well known in Islamic world that Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.) got his first "Revelation" in the cave of Mount Hira - a desert hill and his chosen place for retreat near Mecca.

Further in "Kalki Puran", it is written that he will receive education through "Prash Ram" which means "Soul of God". It is well known by all Muslims that it was the Angel Gabriel who brought the first revelation to prophet Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.) in the cave of Mount Hira, Gabriel is called "Ar-Ruh-ul-amin" (The Trustworthy Soul) in Islam.

Further it is written that Kalki prophet will marry the daughter of the king of Shambhal Deep. Thus Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) married the wealthiest woman of Arab, named Khadijah. It is also written that Kalki prophet will migrate to the hills of North. Thus on the command of God, Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.) and to migrate from Mecca to Madina which is in the North.

FROM OTHER BOOKS
Late Molvi Abdur-Rehman Chishti has given many quotations from other Purans and even Veds. Some of them are translated here from Muqaddama Tafsir Anwarul-Ouran: -

  • Athruben Ved: Lailaha Harni Papan Illallaha Param Padam Janm Baikunth Birap newti to Jane nam Muhammadam. Translation: Saying 'La Ilah' removes the sins Saying Illallha' bestows Parm Padwi If you want Paradise eternal Always recite the name 'Muhammad'.
  • The founder of Arya Samaj, Dyanand Sarswati, had to admit in his book, 'Satyarth parkash' (Chapter 14; p. 739) that alloo Upnishad mentions the name of 'Muhammad' as Rasul. He contends that someone, in the days of Akbar (the Moghul emperor), must have added it in the Athrubin Ved, then he writes: "Someone may say that how can you claim it when nobody has said or written so in all these days; how can we accept your claim (of later addition) without any proof? But this claim cannot be wrong by non-acceptance of anyone." What a claim! And what a proof!
  • Bhonik Uttar Puran: Vyas Rishi, the author of Ramayan, writes in Bhonik Puran: "In the days to come MAHAMAT will come; and it is his sign that cloud will always protect him from the sun; his body will have no shadow; fly will not sit on his body; the earth will be folded for him (i.e. he will Journey to far away places in very short time); ... whatever he will earn, will spend in the way of God, and himself will eat but a little ... whoever will follow that book (i.e., Qur'an) will reach to God. At that time there will be no other path to reach to God."

All these predictions in clear words from beginning to end are about Mohammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.). They have not been applicable to any other person, nor there can be any objection from Hindus regarding its consistency.

OLD AND NEWTESTAMENTS
Now we come to the Jewish and Christian scriptures. Before giving some of the prophecies from the Bible, one important thing should be made clear from the start.

It is the common practice of the Jews and Christians to translate even the proper names, thus wherever they find the name 'Muhammad', they translate it as 'the praiseworthy', lovely, or words like that. This practice has helped them in 'hiding the truth' from the world, as the people reading the translations can never suspect that the sentence refers to a certain person. Now, if others follow that practice, a non-english speaking person will translate the name of 'Livingstone' as a 'stone, which was alive'. Then he will elaborate on this theme and will try to prove that in 19th century, stones in Europe had life, and one of such stones had come to Africa and had traveled up to Kigoma and Ujiji.

Add to it, the frequent changes and alterations which the Christians are so wont to make in the Old and New Testaments, and then you can appreciate the true position.

BOOK OF GENESIS
Anyhow, let us begin from Genesis. I will use the King James Version throughout this chapter.

Genesis 17:20, records the promise of God with Prophet Ibrahim: "And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall be beget, and I will make him a great nation."

The prayer referred to in this sentence, is given in detail in many places in Qur'an, which runs as follows:

And remember Abraham and Isma'il raised the foundations of the House (With this prayer): "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing." Holy Qur'an (2:127) "Our Lord! send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in scripture and wisdom, and sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise." Holy Qur'an (2:129)

Now coming to the wording of Genesis: in this present form this sentence mentions only 12 mains. But in its original language it clearly gives the name of the Holy Prophet also.

DEUTERONOMY
"God promised to Prophet Musa (a.s.): "The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken." (18:15)

"I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto three, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words, which he shall speak in my name. I will require it of him." (18:18-19)

Christians try to fit this prophecy on Prophet Eesa (a.s.). But it fits to nobody except Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.), because: -

1. The prophet was to come from among the brethren of Israel; any prophet coming from Bani Israel is therefore excluded from this good tiding. Now, as we know, Prophet Eesa (a.s.) was from Bani Israel, while Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) was from Bani Ismael who were the brethren of Bani Israel.

2. The prophet was to be 'like unto Moses.' Prophet Musa (a.s.) had to make war, and Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) also had to defend himself through war. But Prophet Eesa (a.s.) did never enter a war.

3. Prophet Musa (a.s.) had a brother Haroon (Aaron), who was to succeed him. No such brother was to Prophet Eesa (a.s.) while Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) had Ali Bin Abi Talib (a.s.) Whom he said "Thou art to me as Aaron was to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me."

4. Prophet Musa (a.s.) left the religious Leadership to the children of Aaron. Prophet Eesa (a.s.) did not make such arrangement. Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) made similar arrangement in his Ummat by leaving Islam in the hands of Ali and his children, Hasan and Hussain.

5. " ... and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak upto them all that I shall command him." This criterion fits Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) only, because Prophet Eesa (a.s.) did not claim if for himself, while Allah said in the Qur'an for Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) "Nor does he speak out of desire. It is naught but revelation that is revealed." (53:3-4)

6. Prophet Eesa (a.s.) did never claim that he was the promised Prophet of this sentence, while Allah mentioned this similarity between Prophet Musa (a.s.) and Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) in the Qur'an in the verse, "Verily, we sent unto you an Apostle, a witness on you, as we sent an Apostle unto Pharao."

7. Prophet Eesa (a.s.) did not claim that he was the like of Moses, while Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) said to Ali Bin Talib (a.s.) "Thou art to me as Aaron was to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me."

8. Prophet Eesa (a.s.) himself said that the prophet who was to come after him will fulfill this prophecy. See the following sentences of John: "How be it when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak."

OTHER PROPHESIES
(A) DUETERONOMY

"And he (i.e., Moses) said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them." (Deut., 33:2)

The coming of Lord means coming of God's Representatives. Now the prophet of God who came from Sinai, was Prophet Musa (a.s.); that who rose from Seir (a mountain in Palestine) is Prophet Eesa (a.s.). And who is the prophet who shined forth from mount Paran? Paran is the name of a mountain in Mecca. The Prophet of God who shined forth from there is none except Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.)

(B) ISAIAH
"Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth ..."(42:10).

The old malady of translating the proper name has made this prophecy meaningless. In an Armenian translation, written in 1666 and published in 1733, it has been translated as: "They sing unto the Lord a new song; and his kingdom continues after him; and his name is Ahmad." (Now the name Ahmad has been translated as meaning 'his praise').

Anyhow, in this prophecy, a new song unto the Lord means a new shariat from God, which fits the Holy Prophet of Islam; but not so much on Prophet Eesa (a.s.)

(C) HABAKKUK
The vision of Nabi Habakkuk says: "God came from Teman and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah ... his ways are everlasting." (3:3-6)

I do not think there is any need to elaborate this prophecy, which is so clear. The representative of Lord who came from Paran was Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) and all other attributes can easily be fitted on him.

Allama Fakhrul-lslam Muhammad Sadique (formerly a Christian priest) has explained more than 30 prophecies from the Old Testament.

FROM NEW TESTAMENT (A) "THAT PROPHET"

"And this is the record to John (i.e., the Baptist) when the Jews sent priests and Levites from to ask him, Who art thou?Jerusalem

"And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

"And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? and he saith, I am not. Art thou that Prophet? And he answered, No." (John 1:19-21)

This talk clearly shows that just before the advent of Prophet Eesa (a.s.) (Jesus Christ), the Jews were waiting for three prophets: Christ, Elias and 'that Prophet.'

And when John said that he was neither of the three, then: "And they asked him, and said unto him, why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that Prophet?" (John 1:25)

It also shows that 'that Prophet' commanded such a high respect that his name was not uttered and his adjective 'Prophet' is written with a capital 'P'. And his advent was so well understood that simply addressing him as 'that Prophet' was enough to know him.

And many scholars believe that 'Elias' means Hazrat Ali (a.s.) who was appointed the successor of the Hoy Prophet, Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.).

(B) "COMFORTER" Prophet Eesa (a.s.) is recorded, as saying to his 12 companions: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement: Of sin, because they believe not on me; of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; of judgement, because the prince of this world is judged.

"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. How be it when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall ear, that shall he seak: and he will show you things to come."

"He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you." (John 18:7-14)

Similar references have been recorded in John, 14:26 and 15:26.

I do not think there is any need to explain how perfectly well these prophecies of Prophet Eesa (a.s.) fit on the Holy Prophet of Islam (s.a.w.a.).

There are more than thirty prophecies mentioned in "Anisul-Aalaam."

Now you may clearly understand the meaning of the following verses of the Qur'an:

"The people of the Book know this (i.e., Muhammad) (s.a.w.a.) as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves know." (2:146)

"Those who follow the Apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own scriptures in the Torah and the Gospel ...(7:157)

"Although from old days they (the Jews) had prayed for victory against those without faith, when there came to them that (i.e., Muhammad) (s.a.w.a.) whom they did recognise, they refused to believe in him..." (2:89)

Rain paryer

Rain paryer

Translated by: Magdy Abd Al-Shafy

Allah , since the very beginning of creation , has set the rules that would  govern the whole of the universe ,God ,theCreator,  can give the effect of these laws either by  these laws or  by other laws other than the first ones or by any other way . God says in the Holy Quran what means " And Our word unto a thing, when We intend it, is only that We say unto it: Be! and it is."  Al-Nahel :40)

Amo ng these cases in which God can change the laws that govern the universe what we Moslem call " the rain prayer " This prayer is done when the rain ceases to come down and drought  wanders leaving miseries everywhere ; in this case ,as prophet Mohummed taught us , Moslems should go in congregation , and do the prayer of rain in which they supplicate to Allah . Following this prayer , rain always start to come down to the extent that  those who do the prayer came back home wet . The laws that make rain goes down are not available . So God , the most Merciful , on hearing the desperate supplications  of those who do the rain prayer , would  drive the rain to the place where they stand .

In 1973 in a place called Harf Sofyan, the Chinese were building Sanaa-sada road .At that time a heavy drought stroke the area . A Moslem scientist asked the people to go out to do the rain prayer . As the Chinese started to dig wells for the people , people think not to go out ; unfortunately only one person went with the this scientist and they did the prayer on the farm of this poor man ; to the  amazement of those who witnessed that incident , rain  began to fall heavily only on the poor man's farm –that man who did the prayer with the Moslem scientist. For several months vegetation was seen on this farm but the other farms turned barren without any sign of vegetation . This farm remained known as the " the farm of the man who did the prayer of the rain ?

In the Regime of the communists in what is now known as Ethiopia , a drought stroke the area and the aftermath was so heavy , people starved to death and so did the animals . The communist government , on seeing that , allowed the Christian and the Moslems to do the prayers for rain , the Christians did the prayers in their churches but in vain .

The high Imam asked the Moslem to go for the prayer and asked them to fast for three days before the prayers . In fact the communists mocked the Christians and they were waiting the Moslem to receive their portion of mockery ; Moslem were afraid that Allah would not accept their supplications and that would be a scandal as that of the Christians

Moslems started their prayers and they deeply supplicated . Shortly after the prayer had finished , rain began to fall heavily quenching the thirst of the land  after a three-year drought . it was also a rain  that quenched the thirst of the heart of the believers . Many Christians embraced Islam following this great incident after they rejected it for a long time .

Shiek Gad Al-Halk tells this story

In Sinai , Egypt , a drought stroke Egypt ; when he was asked what to do , Shiek Gad Al-Halk advised them to do the rain prayer . The governor of Sinai called people and the religion scientists to do the rain prayer . Allah did actually sent rain to Sinai , it was  so heavy that the governor asked the sheika again what to do , the sheik told them to supplicate to Allah once again asking Him to take the rain a little farer lest their towns should be affected

Dr Ordgan , one of the leaders in the Rofat  Islamic party in Turkey,  was promoted as the head of municipality in Istanbul , he succeeded in solving a lot of problems ,yet the problem of water remained a threat to his efforts . He remembered the prayer for rain that he learnt at schools , so called the people to do the prayer . The secularists ,being overwhelmed by the unbelief in Allah , stood mocking at those who were about to do the prayer , they were afraid that their supplication should not be accepted and that the secularists rejoice at their misfortune . We deeply supplicated to Allah not to let us down . On the following day , it rained heavily till water over flooded the industrial canals

Once Sheik Abd Al-majeed Zanadany visited a village called Yahr in Ymen to give a lecture there , the people there asked him to do the prayer for rain . He answered saying " I will " then he heard a man saying if it rains , I will pray and cease to commit what displease Allah , only one a hour and twenty minutes elapsed beforethe fall of the rain ,  thought there wasn't any cloudlet .

Medical Phenomenon Confuse American Scientists

Medical Phenomenon Confuse American Scientists

By Abd Al-Daem Kaheel

Translated by Bayan Taleb

Revised by Magdy Abd Al-Shafy

Skeptics had always tried to criticize the Holy Koran and prove for their followers that the Koran is scientifically contradicted with the already discovered facts and full of legends that are far away from the scientific logic; in their attempts, they brought several examples such as the story of the people of the Cave.

They are asking in their skeptical sites: how could they sleep for such long years with their eyes open then wake up? They are saying that is against medicine laws, this phenomenon cannot be medically realized.

Glory is to Allah the Greatest! Whenever you read a criticism of the Koran, you find in the scientists' discoveries what verity the Koran and refute the claims of the opposites. That's because Allah the Exalted said in his glorious book: (and never will Allah grant to the disbelievers a way (to triumph) over the believers) Al-Nisa'a 141.

Ernest Kretschmer discovered a relatively new phenomenon in the year 1940, and then came the Spanish scientist Bryan Jennett and the American scientist Fred Plum to accurately describe this phenomenon, they called it the vegetative state. In this state, the patient enters a state of lethargy but with the eyes open, he can sometimes smile and feel what is going on around him, he can also swallow his saliva. He is in a partial state of consciousness, he looks as if he is awake but actually he is lethargic. This state happens because of an injury or a disease.

The study indicated, using FMRI(Functional magnetic resonance imaging), that the brain is active during the coma or lethargy the patient suffers which can last for years. This is what confused the scientists: what stimulates this brain? What inspires the patient to stay alive even though he is completely unconscious? And what makes him wake up suddenly and talk as if nothing happened?

In the beginning, scientists thought that this phenomenon is deep sleep, but then it became evident that it is not sleep but a unique unexplained phenomenon. We'd like to indicate that the patient in this state needs nutrition injected with special means.

Scientists say that the brain releases signs indicating its reaction to the surrounding; the patient can move and respond to outer effects but he is unconscious. If you look at him during the lethargy state, he seems awake; when you talk to him, his brain will respond to the orders, but he is lethargic and unconscious. The people of the cave

Allah Almighty tells us about a few young men who believed in their Lord and escaped the unjust king to win their religion and their afterlife. They took refuge in a cave, and Allah honored them with a great miracle so that they would be an example for their people at that time, Allah Almighty said what means : ((Remember) when the young men fled for refuge (from their disbelieving folk) to the Cave, they said: "Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!" Therefore We covered up their (sense of) hearing (causing them, to go in deep sleep) in the Cave for a number of years. Then We raised them up (from their sleep), that We might test which of the two parties was best at calculating the time period that they had tarried.) Al-Kahf 10-12.

If we meditate on this story, we will find it similar the scientific medical phenomena in the way the people of the cave slept and the way they were turned from the left side to the right side. Scientists that made a brain scan for the patients that are in the vegetative state said that the results of the scan showed that the activity of their brain is similar to that of a normal one. These patients look very normal, and you would think they are awake.

Here we remember Allah the Exalted saying about the people of the cave: (and you would have thought them awake, while they were asleep) Al-Kahf 18. And describing their turning from the right side to the left side which is a normal reaction that the sleeper would respond to, Allah the Exalted says: (and We turn them on their right and on their left sides) Al-Kahf 18.

From here we conclude that the Koran is very logical in describing this story, but the miracle here is that these young men slept for a very long time, 309 years, without food or water; this is a divine miracle that we believers should be sure of . Medically speaking sleeping of long years is something completely normal.

Scientists confused

A few days before writing this article, an American patient with the vegetative state who had been six years in this state suddenly woke up and started talking with her family as if nothing had happened; she remained awake for three days talking with the people around her then went back to her first state! Doctors say that she woke up four times during her lethargy. The thing that confuses about this state is that it's neither sleep nor coma. What is wondrous, dear reader, is that Allah the Exalted called a similar state that happened to the people of the cave sleep saying: (and you would have thought them awake, while they were asleep)

Scientists consider the fact that she came back to life a miracle!! This phenomenon confused the American scientists because they couldn’t explain it, they consider such cases miracles. The question is: if the westerner scientists see with their own eyes people sleeping for long years, why aren’t they convinced that the Holy Koran is truthful when talking about the people of the cave?

The second question: how could Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him had he not been a messenger from Allah describe accurately the state of these sleepers and say: (and you would have thought them awake, while they were asleep). The Koran is the creation of Allah, and Allah had put in it evidences proving its truthfulness (and who is truer in statement than Allah?) Al-Nisa'a 87.

The Miracle and Challenge of the Quran

The Miracle and Challenge of the Quran

With an introduction by Magdy Abd Al-SHafy

The Holy Quran is a miracle that beggars description , words fail to describe this miracle , it is a miracle in the full sense of the term . Different specialists , according to the branch of science they are specialized in , find it miraculous . Prophet Mohummed said commenting on the Holy Quran saying " it unfolds the secrets of the nations that preceded you , and secrets of the future treasured in it " It is the Holy Book that Jinnee , on hearing to it , did not leave their place till they believed in it . It is the book which unbelievers gave positive witness to .

Dr. Keith L. Moore is a Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. He is a world renowned scientist and a distinguished researcher in the fields of anatomy and embryology, he has published more than 150 research articles, chapters and books in this field. He is the author of several medical textbooks, such as the widely used and acclaimed "The Developing Human: Clinically oriented Embryology" (now in it's fifth edition, and translated into eight different languages), "Before We Are Born" and "Clinically Oriented Anatomy." He has also recently co-authored "Qur'an and Modern Science, Correlation Studies." Dr. Moore is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including, in 1984, the J.C.B. Grant Award, which is the highest honor granted by the Canadian Association of Anatomists. He has served in many academic and administrative positions, including the President of the Canadian Association of Anatomists, 1968-1970. Let us see what Dr. Moore's opinion is on the scientific statements regarding embryology to be found in the Qur'an:

Dr. Moore was contacted by a Muslim scholar by the name of Abdul-Majeed Azzindani. He was asked to participate in a three-year study of around twenty-five verses of the Qur'an and the Sunnah (sayings of Muhammad, pbuh) which speak about embryology, and to determine the their correspondence to modern scientific discoveries. Dr. Moore's conclusion regarding this matter was:
"For the past three years, I have worked with the Embryology Committee of King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, helping them to interpret the many statements in the Qur'an and the Sunnah referring to human reproduction and prenatal development. At first I was astonished by the accuracy of the statements that were recorded in the seventh century AD, before the science of embryology was established. Although I was aware of the glorious history of Muslim scientists in the 10th century AD, and of some of their contributions to Medicine, I knew nothing about the religious facts and beliefs contained in the Qur'an and Sunnah. It is important for Islamic and other students to understand the meaning of these Qur'anic statements about human development, based on current scientific knowledge. The interpretations of the "verses" in the Qur'an and the Sunnah, translated by Shaikh Azzindani, are to the best of my knowledge accurate."

From the forward of "The Developing Human: Clinically oriented Embryology," third edition, by Dr. Keith L. Moore.

The Qur'an and the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad (Sallalahu Alayhi Wa Salam) provide a very detailed description of the microscopic development of the human embryo from a mere sperm drop up to the stage of a completely formed human being. It is well known that microscopes were not developed until the sixteenth century AD, and even at that were very crude in design. Zacharias Janssen is credited with having invented the compound microscope in about 1590. With it, remarkable scientific discoveries were made in the 17th and 18th centuries. The Dutch naturalist Anthony van Leeuwenhoek produced lenses powerful enough to prove that many tiny creatures are not spontaneously generated but come from eggs.

Before this period, theories on human reproduction ran rampant. Some scientist believed that the menstrual blood itself developed into the fetus. Later on, a new theory was developed wherein the sperm drop was popularly believed to contain a completely developed miniature human (homunculus) which later grew to the size of a baby. The science of embryology as we know it today did not discover many of the detailed aspects of human development which are taken for granted today until only about twenty years ago, or 1973 to be precise.

Now we must ask the question: where did Muhammad (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam) get such detailed knowledge of the microscopic development of the human embryo in the 6th century AD without a microscope, technical training, a laboratory of any kind, or even the ability to write his own name? The only logical conclusion is that it came from exactly where he claimed it did. From the one who created mankind, God Almighty!

Prof. Moore has since given numerous lectures on the topic of embryology in the Qur'an. He is quoted in one of these lectures as saying: "It is clear to me that these statements must have come to Muhammad from God, or Allah, because most of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad must have been a messenger of God, or Allah."

Prof. Moore was so impressed with the Qur'anic classification of the stages of development of the human embryo, that he suggested the adoption of the Qur'anic system in place of the system currently in use by scientists today. Prof. Moore said: "Because the staging of the human embryo is complex owing to the continuous process of change during development. It is therefore suggested that a new system of classification could be developed using the terms mentioned in the Qur'an and the Sunnah. The proposed system is simple, comprehensive, and conforms with present embryological knowledge."

When Dr. Moore first presented his findings in Toronto it caused quite a stir throughout Canada. It was on the front pages of some of the newspapers across Canada . One newspaper reporter asked Professor Moore,
"Don't you think That maybe the Arabs might have known about these things - the description of the embryo, its appearance and how it changes and grows? Maybe there were not scientists, but maybe they did some crude dissections on their own - carved up people and examined these things."

Professor Morre immediately pointed out to him, however, that he had missed a very important point. All of the slides of the embryo that Dr. Moore had based his study upon had come from pictures taken through a microscope. He said, "It does not matter if someone had tried to discover embryology fourteen centuries ago, they could not have seen it!." Dr. Moore taunted, "Maybe fourteen centuries ago someone secretly had a microscope and did this research, making no mistakes anywhere. Then he somehow taught Muhammad and convinced him to put this information in his book. Then he destroyed his equipment and kept it a secret forever?. Do you believe that? You really should not unless you bring some proof because it is such a ridiculous theory."

When he was asked "How do you explain this information in the Qur'an?" Dr. Moore's reply was, "It could only have been divinely revealed."

Is there Cure for Senescence

Is there Cure for Senescence

By: Abd Al-Daem Kaheel

Translated By : Bayan Taleb

Revised By :Magdy Abd Al-Shafy

Scientists recently discovered a gene on the DNA tape inside the body cells; this gene was called Telomere, it is a tape that has a defined length and controls the death and senescence of cells. The task of this Telomere is to maintain the DNA after each time it splits to produce new cells.

But this Telomere gets shorter after each cell division until it reaches a critical limit when it can't do its tasks anymore; here, the cell gets old and dies. Scientists tried to lengthen the biological age of this gene; they discovered an enzyme called Telomerase that can maintain the senescence gene and keep cells in a healthy condition for a longer period. But how to put this new element inside each cell while the body has trillions of cells??

A new problem faced the scientists; it is the cell, when exceeding a certain age without dying, starts to multiply quickly causing cancer which leads to the same result: death!! The problem in this case is even bigger; that's why most scientists see that senescence is the best way to end a human's life normally, and any attempt to lengthen the age beyond certain limits would have many effects, the least of which is cancer, may Allah protect you and us from it.

We see an illustration of the DNA tape. This tape contains all the information about our lives and even our death. In this tape, we have the senescence gene which is responsible for maintaining this DNA tape, it has a specific length and gets shorter and shorter each time the   cell goes division until it reaches a specific length and then the cell dies.

And here is the evidence on Allah's Almighty saying: (We have decreed death to you all), death is destined, programmed, and organized. This is what the Holy Koran told us in the seventh century, and this is what scientists find today in the twenty-first century, so glory to Allah!

Professor Lee Silver, From the American University Princeton, Says: "any attempt to gain  eternity is against nature; death harmonizes completely with development. We give our genes to the next generations and if we don't die, then we will fight with our kids over life which is not a good thing for the development progress".

At this point, scientists concluded that there is no cure for senescence in the current time, but they will continue their researches and spend billions trying to find one and lengthen the human age but in vain. I wish that these scientists had read the Hadith from the beginning and saved their money and efforts researching!

The greatest prophet peace be upon him said: (take medicine servants of Allah, for Allah has not created a disease without creating its cure, except one disease - is senescence) on the authority of Ahmad. We ask Allah Almighty to make the Koran and cure of every disease, truly He is near and hearing.

Woman in Islam and ancient civilization and reiligions

Woman in Islam and ancient civilization and reiligions

By Mr Hamou Ghanem

Woman in Islam and ancient civilization and reiligions

studying the  conditions of women in the ancient civilizations and religions that preceded Islam will help us to see how Islam has singled the woman out and how Islam deemed her higher than any other religion or civilization did  . The difficult  life that woman had been put to , the  evidence  , the  thought and the way that people treated women , if compared with what Islam ordained concerning women rights,  will take us to final fair conclusion

Woman has suffered not only in the communities she lived but also when nations take the place of  each other , the prejudice and injustices that women suffered ensued in an inferior and lower position . Hammurabi law oppressively accused her of things that she didn't commit .  Most shockingly, Man was not to be sentenced to death if he killed a woman .

In India , Manou law deemed the woman as an item of the property that a man possessed  , this item of property was to be inherited , she had no the right to be educated , she was nothing but a tool of sex for men , when her husband died she was to be burnt with him alive in the same place .

In China woman was a considered as a sinister sign that heralded misery , so it was incumbent on her not to go out to look at a human face

InGreece , woman was considered impure , in the ancient Greek poetry she was portrayed as a creature with a dog's mind and with cunning subtle morals . The Greek orator, Demostein said " we took women as prostitutes for sex delight , concubines for our daily health and wives to give us children

According to the Roman Law , woman was an impure dirty creature , it was tabooed for her to approach a temple, so she was not qualified to enter the paradise . Her femininity , according to the then law, disqualified her.

The distorted Torah blames on her the consequences of eating from the forbidden tree ; moreover this canon considered woman as property and that she was to supercede all her rights to her husband

Most strikingly , the children of Israel used to give girls as oblation to be burnt just to please the kings.. The Arab , in the pre-Islamic period used to bury baby girls alive as they thought that woman may draw shame to them . God says in the holy Quran denouncing this what could be translated " When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief "

Woman in Islam

The Holy Quran corrected the human thought as regard the woman , that thought that imbued the ancient human culture , Quran centered some of its interest on the humanity of woman , God says in the holy Quran what means"

" Omankind reverence your guardian Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, his mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women; reverence God, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (that bore you): for God ever watches over you. " SURA 4: NISA 1"

Moreover , the Holy Quran considered the woman equal to man in her duties towards God and the ensuing responsibilities. God says in the holy Quran what means " Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds."

Unlike the Holy Book , woman in the Holy Quran is innocent of the crime of enticing Adam of eating from the banned tree , both of them were ordered to avoid that tree , Satan whispered to them both ,God says in the Holy Quran what means " - Then did Satan make them slip from the (Garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which They had been. " Also both of them repented together ; The Holy Quran says " They said: Our Lord We have wronged our own souls: if thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us thy mercy, we shall Certainly be lost.

Since the very beginning of creation , woman and man were both individually and  psychologically equal , no one to excel the other but by doing righteousness . woman in Quran is not a dependant entity but  she is completely independent enjoying the same legality that man enjoys and also she is to refrain herself from what man is to refrain from himself from  on the basis of the Holy Quran instructions . Woman is no longer an associate with the devil nor is she  a corporal tool of sex  . She is equal to man in every thing except those which regards her biological feminine nature .

In Islam she has the right of the honourable life , she has the right to learn , possess , choose her husband , raise her children , inherit property and work . No Monasticism in Islam , no distinction between a father and a mother , both are to receive the same reverence and respect from their sons , God says in the Holy Quran what means " We have enjoined on man kindness to parents"

In Islam , it is one of the prophet habits (sunaha) to receive a newly born baby girl with happiness and giving a banquet as a sign of happiness and thanking God, prophet Mohummed asked his companions to name the baby girls with the most promising fine names . Islam renounced and condemned the way that ancient nations in India ,china and the Arab peninsula treated woman..

Islam made it incumbent on the family to let woman learn , prophet Mohummed says " seeking science is a religious obligation"

Some of Moslem scholars recommended some arenas of educations for women and that why some non-Moslems scholars , being obfuscated by this , could not understand the matter . They have delineated this attitude as an ambience controlled with censorship only on woman , an error that disfigured education in Islam . Nothing could be better evidence to the goodness of woman education than the view of Islam to woman . Islam , when talking about woman education . bears in mind that woman undergoes menstruation , postpartum period and her duties towards her husband and sons .

Marriage :

In Islam marriage is organized in terms with some Ayas and Hadiths .Islam , though divine revelation ,show the relation between man and woman in the family considering ita small unit in the society , Islam laid the foundation of Moslem society on many bases ; among these is the Moslem family . In Islam , woman is considered the cornerstone of the family . Woman's honour should be highly considered when prefiguring an Islamic family .God says in the holy Quran what means

ye who believe ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. nor should ye treat them with harshness, ………………….live with them on a footing of kindness and equity.

Prophet Mohummed said " The best of you is the best to his wife and I am the best of you to my wives …the generous are those who honour their wives and women are offended by fraudulent or mean people Islam Has put an upper limit to polygamy and ,despite allowing divorce , Islam doesn't favour it but rather put some restriction , among these are the mutual consent and consultation .Like consultation in the political system that guarantees success in administering all the internal and external affairs , mutual consultation in the family does too . Marriage in Islam is not only concerned with procreation but also with mercy , peace and cordiality in the family . The best description that portrays the successful marriage is the example that metaphorically set in the Holy Quran " they are your garments and ye are their garments. "

Motherhood

Islam supreme end is building a family which is considered the first cell of the social body of the society , So Islam is keen on the family structure by strengthening the connections and ties inside the family . Motherhood occupied the central interest of Islam in this connection as it is the role of the mother to care about the baby since the very beginning till he became independent.

To fulfill her duties ,Islam didn't make it incumbent on woman to be the breadwinner of the family and laid it on the shoulder of the husband to be so . So man is responsible and that why the Islamic law made her share in the inheritance as half as the man ; According to this law woman should understand that she should not overlook her duties towards her family . It was Islam that lavishes  woman with much care entailing the society to care about her taking into consideration the biological changes that she suffer during her lifetime such as confinement and menstruation

Women judicial right :

In Islam woman is completely free when dealing with her property and she has the right to sue her husband (if he does something wrong to her ) , contrary to most ancient world culture ,  woman in Islam has the right to give her witnesses as regards some cases ,  despite being much criticized , woman share in inheritance is significant , man is the breadwinner in Islam so he is to take as twice as woman does . As to some cases that need the witnesses of two women , it is not according to her biological difference between man and woman that Islam make the witnesses of two women equal to one man ; it is because the passionate nature of woman that Islam made so .

The civil and political rights of women

Woman in Islam has the right to practice any job on condition that she abide by the Islamic instructions ; Islam only stipulates women chastity and to be away from any suspicious social relations to maintain her honour and to protect Islam from moral corruption

The Sudden Death

The Sudden Death

By Abdudda’em Al-Kehail

Translated By Zakya Fellaata

Revised By Magdy Abd Al-SHafy

Introduction

Prophet Mohammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) said: (One of resurrection day’s signs is the appearance of abrupt death) (according to Attabarani). A scientific miracle appears in this prophetic tradition that will be proven by undisputable medical facts, this miracle certifies that Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) is a messenger sent by the almighty God, never utters by preconception (by his own inclination); lkcu89 each word he uttered was of God inspiration.

United Nations organization informs us everyday about numbers of those who die due to cerebral apoplexies and cardiac arrest, these numbers increase continuously, and statistics say that cardiac diseases are the main cause of death universally.

Through this research we will find that no one in Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) age could  imagine that there will be a time in which the abrupt death increases except if the prophet  was inspired by God ,who  instructed him these sciences.

The First One to Study This Phenomenon Scientifically

The abrupt death phenomenon is relatively a recent phenomenon, and the first study of it is the study of Framingham (Framingham heart study), that began in 1948 AD, half of those who participated in this study are now  dead , and their death cases have been studied precisely, and Framingham defines the abrupt death as it is the death which occurs within an hour after symptoms onset. It was found that several sudden death cases are resulted from cardiac coronary artery diseases which called Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD). He demonstrated that men within the age range of 45-75 years old who died of cardiac diseases, 60% of them have died suddenly!! (2).

The study also demonstrated that the abrupt death is due to a kind of  a sudden disturbance that might be caused by psychological reasons, no matter what intensive care is taken, and even if the patient was to be rescued by all means, this kind of death achieves its task successfully! (2).

What is The Sudden Death?

There is an aphorism  that Old people used to say , it says : causes of death are multifarious are several, but death always remains the same , so we can understand the common idea about (regarding) death in the past, that death is due to defined reason; for example sickness, accidents and suicide or other reasons, but to speak about uncaused death, that is the sudden death which wasn’t known in the past.

As recent medicine tools and systems have been developed , we could discover death reasons; cancer, epidemic diseases and infectious diseases are some reasons which indicate that death might occur, but the most important reason for death presently is the cardiac clot that occurs suddenly.

Scientists define the abrupt death that it is unexpected death that occurs during short period that doesn’t overtake one hour, and it was demonstrated that half of those who are infected by cardiac diseases will die abruptly! Most of sudden death cases are resulted from disturbance in the coronary artery.

Sudden death attacks patient even if he/she is inside the hospital; studies proved that 10% of patients die abruptly in the hospital and 90% of them die outside the hospital (7).

Statistics

The first cause of death in the United States is the cardiac disease; the cardiac clot which has the percentage of 28% of death cases. Reports affirm that during 2001AD 700 thousands humans died in the United States due to cardiac diseases! (6).

Yet, what are the numbers of those who die due to abrupt death? In the United States, 300 thousands humans die every year suddenly due to cardiac diseases. Statistics confirm that the rate of sudden death generally increases around the world and men are likely exposed to die suddenly three times more than women.

Sudden death occurs without any herald or signs of cardiac diseases. Although billions dollars are paid for cardiac diseases researches in the united states, and although they could reduce sudden death cases caused by cardiac diseases, sudden death rate is still constant (changeless)!(2).

Smoking and Psychological Depression

Smoking increases the probability of sudden death three times! That smoking is responsible for causing one fourth of coronal cardiac diseases (CAD) in the world, most of theses diseases end with sudden death.

Psychological depression affects the increasing of sudden death probability, also age affects the rate of increasing sudden death ; studies demonstrated that people are exposed to die suddenly during the forties and fifties and this period of human age is the period during which human is matured mentally enough , the chances of death for diabetic patients are so high (1).

Is There a Medical Therapy for This Phenomenon?

Most of doctors talk about treatment after apoplexy occurs, because they have no treatment till now for these dangerous apoplexies, in spite of that, the probability of escape is very few. Doctors confirm that the ideal (successful) way to prevent this kind of abrupt death is to ensure more stability for heart function (5).

The available treatment presently is to make the patient under intensive care, then to precede surgery, and even these steps aren’t workable except in some cases. Doctors recommend reducing sugar and cholesterol amounts in these patients’ diet which is also not workable in this case.

So what about those who don’t have idea about their condition and no one can predict if sudden death attacks them without any alert? What is their treatment? Medicine fails to predict their case, but, did the merciful prophet Mohammad (God peace and blessing be upon him) ignored them or he described remedy for them??

What Is The Prophetic and Koranic Treatment?

The Almighty God mentioned heart in many verses in the holy Koran. Hearts become sick and hardened , they become blind and scared and become secure, they deflect and become impure, and they understand and realize. So, heart is not only a pump, it is an integral system that controls the psychological stability in human.

Mentioning God is the best way to make heart secure, Allah says in the Holy Quran what means : {Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah. for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction} (Arra’d (Thunder): 28). When a Muslim mentions his Lord, his heart will be stable and won’t suffer from disturbance; you can close your eyes and make your heart show reverence and fetch God’s Mightiness and say for example (no God, but Allah) and try to discover what feelings do you feel, don’t you feel that you are the most one who feel safe, secure and stability!

We found that sudden death is caused by abrupt disturbance in heart function (activity), therefore, doctors till now have failed to find out a treatment for this phenomenon, but Koran has solved it by this holy verse, so please imagine as you memorize the holy Koran by heart, won’t you expect that you’ll be the most psychologically stable among people?

Prophet Mohammad (pace and blessing be upon him) educated us a great prayer which he used to supplicate God with everyday; we imitate our merciful prophet and learn this prayer to supplicate God. Abu Dawood narrated that Prophet Mohammad (pace and blessing be upon him) said:   " No plague is to suddenly inflict a man if he says (seeking protection from Allah )every morning and every evening   " In the name of Allah that   nothing under the umbrella of His name   , either in heaven or on the earth ,   could harm (when seeking protection from Him ) as He is the Well-Knowing and Well-hearing ."

According to Attirmethey, Prophet Mohammad (pace and blessing be upon him) also used to supplicate God with this prayer: (Oh God, protect  me in front of me and behind me, from my right side and my left side, and over me, and I seek the aide of you not to be assassinated from my underfoot side).

The Holy Prophetic Miracle facet

We can summarize miracle aspects in the following points:

1. No one was able to predict that sudden death will increase because no one could know this fact. But, since few years, scientists could precede precise statistics, and for their surprise, they got unexpected numbers; they found that the percentage of those who die suddenly is very high.

2. Scientists today say that sudden death phenomenon has just been studied for fifty years! It has been studied medically for the last twenty years, and scientists try to find tactics to prevent sudden death (4) because they are aware of the seriousness of this problem, yet they gain nothing, which means that this phenomenon is continuously increasing and scientists began to reveal the causes of sudden death, and that exactly what prophet Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) mentioned when he said: (One of resurrection day’s signs is the appearance of abrupt death

3. Some skeptics might claim that sudden death was known many years ago, so we say: sudden death wasn’t known during Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) time, because we find that poets and literary didn’t mention it in their poetries and writings and Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) considered sudden death as one of resurrection day’s signs. If sudden death was common in that age, skeptics  would object to this prophetic tradition!

As we know that unbelievers used to criticize everything, so if sudden death phenomenon was common in that time and prophet Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) told them that this phenomenon will appear in the end of life on the earth which will be followed by resurrection day, they would astonish that prophet Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) considers common phenomenon as one of resurrection day’s signs!! So we can consider this prophetic tradition as a medical miracle for the greatest messenger Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) whereas he talked about a phenomenon which scientists discovered recently .

The occlusion

We’d like to terminate this research (paper) with a holy prophetic prayer which all of us ought to learn and memorize by heart: according to Albukhari, prophet Mohammad (peace and blessing be upon him) said: (Oh Allah , You are my god ,  There is no god but You . It is You Who has created me  , I confess  I am Your servant  , and I will remain abiding my self to my commitment to You ( Being a believer and a servant ) as far as I could

Oh , my God , I ask your refuge from the repercussions of my deeds ,

I confess your succor and thebestow you granted me with

Oh , God ! Forgive my sins as no one could do that but You

Dear reader, will you be convinced of this prophetic remedy and memorize the prayer and try not to forget it at all?

Pulsar

Pulsar

By : Magdy Abd Al-Shafy

What does Holy Quran says about the pulsar

The Holy Quran , the last revealed authenticated book , is replete with scientific facts that have been discovered already and have become scientifically established ,and there are still many to be discovered in the course of time . One might ask why ? the answer is : besides the many other miracle of the prophet that are the same as Jesus and Moses and even Abraham , the Holy Quran is the immortal miracle which is considered the true miracle of prophet Mohummmed . People in every age can see its miracle . We are now at the age of science . People , to believe in God , needs miracles that match the miracle of this age , The time of Moses was the age of magic , so Moses' were some thing that overpowered magic and even excelled this magic ,people in the time of Jesus were clever in medicine , So most of Jesus miracles were something medical , he cured many incurable diseases. Though I truly believe in them , some people are scrupulous about these as they did not see them themselves.

So , now , what is best way to convince those atheists of the existence of God and what is the best way to prove the divinity of any book that its adherents claim its divinity – It should be something suitable to the age –the age of science.

The Holy Quran gives the answer and even stands in the face of all the claims of atheism

Among the many scientific facts that are mentioned is the Pulsar

God says in the Holy Quran what could be translated " Soon will We show them Our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?"

The universe , as Islam , considers the open Book that proves the existence of God;many scientific facts were mentioned in the Holy Quran to strengthen the belief of the believers and to take people back to God.

The Holy Quran mentions the pulsar by one of its most outstanding features ; Read the following verse from the Holy Quran :

والسماء والطارق وما أدراك ما الطارق النجم الثاقب ان كل نفس لما عليها حافظ

God says in the Holy Quran " I swear] by Heaven and the Tariq ( The Knocker ) ! And what will convey to you what the Tariq is? The Star Piercing [the darkness]! (Qur'an, 86:1-3) "

The word ( Tarek and the word Al-thakeb ) are two different Arabic words that are used in the above-mentioned verse to describe the Pulsar , the word Altarek means in English " the Knocker or that beats quickly and the word " Al-thakeb" means " piercing ", these two characteristics ( knocker and piercing ) are one of the most specific features of pulsar .

Let's first read the following information about the pulsar and we will be back again to the holy verse.

Pulsars originate when an old, massive star explodes as a supernova. In this process, the core of the star implodes. The core collapses through the white dwarf stage until its constituent protons and electrons combine to form neutrons. If it is not too massive (less than 1.4 times the mass of the Sun) it can stabilize at this point as a very hot, incredibly dense ball of neutrons with a thin crust of ordinary matter on its surface. Neutron stars are spinning rapidly when they form - up to about 800 and even one thousand rotations per second - and slow down as they age. These pulses of the pulsar are reminiscent of heart-beats or someone's knocking quickly at door.

pulsar is a highly magnetized neutron star, with a radius of 10-15 km, having somewhat greater mass than the Sun which has a radius of approximately 1 million km. Radiation is beamed out along the magnetic poles and pulses of radiation are received as the beam crosses the Earth, in the same manner as the beam from a lighthouse causes flashes. Being enormous cosmic flywheels with a tick attached, they make some of the best clocks known to mankind.

Diagram of a pulsar

A diagram of a pulsar, showing its rotation axis and its magnetic axis

Because they are so small, most neutron stars cannot be seen with optical telescopes, even very large ones. However, they have extremely strong magnetic fields.

Neutron stars form as the nuclei of super giant stars collapse. The highly compressed and dense matter, in the form of a rapidly revolving sphere, entraps and squeezes most of the star's weight and magnetic field. The powerful magnetic field created by these rapidly revolving neutron stars has been shown to cause the emission of powerful radio waves observable on Earth.

The magnetic field creates a hot-spot above each magnetic pole, which produces an intense beam of radiation that is strongest at radio wavelengths.

The Crab Nebula From the Ground (left) and Its Interior With Pulsar

The magnetic field axis is offset from the rotation (spin) axis. Hence if the pulsar is oriented suitably so that the beam can shine in our direction, as the pulsar spins we detect a pulse of radio waves each time the beam flashes past the radio telescope. The rotating lights on emergency vehicles produces flashes in the same way. Neutron stars have very intense magnetic fields, about 1,000,000,000,000 times stronger than Earth's own field. However, the axis of the magnetic field is not aligned with the neutron star's rotation axis. The combination of this strong magnetic field and the rapid rotation of the neutron star produces extremely powerful electric fields, with electric potential in excess of 1,000,000,000,000 volts. Electrons are accelerated to high velocities by these strong electric fields.

Read the following comparison

Typical Magnetic Field srengths

object Strength (Gauss)
Earth magnetic Field 0.6
Simple iron bar magnet 100
Strongest sustained laboratory fields 4 x 105
Strongest man-made fields (millisecond duration 107
Maximum field for ordinary stars 106
Typical fields for radio pulsars 1012
Magnetars 1014 - 1015

As matter grows denser in the core as it revolves around its own axis, the star's magnetic field also grows stronger, and thus gives rise to a magnetic field at its poles 1 trillion times stronger than that of Earth. They realised that a body revolving so fast and with such a powerful magnetic field emits rays consisting of very powerful radio waves in a conic form at every revolution. Shortly afterwards, it was also realised that the source of these signals is the rapid revolution of neutron stars.

artist concept of neutron star

This image shows strong magnetic fields running in loops from pole to pole. Radiation in the form of X-rays appears to pulse on and off as hot patches of gas are exposed at the poles with the neutron star's rotation. (The axis of rotation is different from the axis of the magnetic field.)

The word "pulsar" comes from the verb to pulse. According to the American Heritage Dictionary, the word means to pulsate, to beat. Encarta Dictionary defines it as to beat rhythmically, to move or throb with a strong regular rhythm. Again, according to the Encarta Dictionary, the word "pulsate," which comes from the same root, means to expand and contract with a strong regular beat.

Following that discovery, it was realised that the phenomenon described in the Qur'an as "tariq," beating, bore a great similarity to the neutron stars known as pulsars.

Neutron Star Anatomy

a neutron star's anatomy is very simple, and it has three main layers: A solid core, a "liquid" mantle, and a thin, solid crust. Neutron stars also have a very tiny (a few centimeters - about an inch) atmosphere, but this is not very important in the functioning of the star. Typical sizes for these parts are about 1 km for the crust, and 10 km for the mantle and core combined.

A model of a neutron star's internal structure

A model of a neutron star's internal structure

A neutron star also has two axes - a magnetic one and an axis of rotation. Just as Earth's magnetic axis does not run through the geographic poles, a neutron star's axes rarely line up.

We can say that a neutron star is a star made entirely out of neutrons, as the name suggests. These are the remains of stars that had between 1.4 and 9 times the mass of our sun (solar masses). After a star goes nova, the remaining core collapses while the outer layers are blasted off into space to create a nebula. Gravity shrinks and condenses the core into a sphere about the size of Manhattan (25 km (15 mile) diameter) within a few seconds. A neutron star is so dense that a pinhead's worth of material from one would weigh as much as a supertanker.

PSR_Size

Compare the diameter of the pulsar , the earth and the sun

So a pulsar is a star - a very small, unusual star, though, with a diameter of about 20km. Compare this with our Sun, which is an "ordinary" star:

Back again to the Holy Quran

[I swear] by Heaven and the Tariq ( The Knocker ) ! And what will convey to you what the Tariq is? The Star Piercing [the darkness]! (Qur'an, 86:1-3)

God in the above mentioned verse , though He needn't swear , Did swear by that star.when God swears , he swears by something great and also what He swear on is assuredly great.

The word "Tariq," name of the Sura 86, comes from the Arabic root "tarq," whose basic meaning is that of striking hard enough to produce a sound, or hitting. Bearing in mind the word's possible meaning as "beating," "striking hard," our attention may be being drawn in this sura to an important scientific fact. Before analysing this information, let us look at the other words employed in the verse to describe these stars. The term "al-taariqi" in the above verse means a star that pierces the night, that pierces the darkness, born at night, piercing and moving on, beating, striking, or sharp star. Furthermore, the term "wa" draws attention to the things being sworn on-the heaven and the Tariq.

press here to listen to the pulsar

In the third verse of Surat at-Tariq the term "al-najmu al-thaaqibu," meaning piercing, moving on, or opening holes, indicates that Tariq is a bright star that pierces a hole in the darkness and moves on. The concept of the term "adraaka" in the expression "And what will convey to you what the Tariq is?" refers to comprehension. Pulsars, formed through the compression of stars several times the size of the Sun, are among those celestial bodies that are hard to comprehend. The question in the verse emphasizes how hard it is to comprehend this beating star. (Allah knows best.

As discussed, the stars described as Tariq in the Qur'an bear a close similarity to the pulsars described in the 20th century, and may reveal to us another scientific miracle of the Qur'an.

The significance of the word piercing

The word " piercing " in Arabic has three meanings and all these meanings match description of the pulsar

(a)(Althakeb in Arabic means , according to Arabic dictionary ,piercing , this star is composed of neutrons which are electrically neutral . A neutron is the heaviest particles in the atom , being electrically neutral , it penetrates the atom easily . so the word " piercing in the holy Quran" is the best word to describe this feature of the pulsar,

(b)This star emits very strong waves that pierce anything whatever it could be , it pierces even our bodies . Though these stars are so far , the effect of these stars was found at the bottom of the seas . So the Quran , God's wordhas used the Arabic word"Thakeb " in English "piercing " to describe this star by one of its features

The Holy verse in the Holy Quran refers assuredly to the pulsar, and not to any othercelestial object ,simply because of the following points :

Characteristics of the celestial object mentioned in 86:1-3 are:

1- It pulsates (knocks) 2- It is a star  3- It penetrates, pierces, drills.

These pulsars , though originate in massive explosion being encompassed with dense matter , they strikingly begin to shine with strong light and radiation that pierce every celestial body , the Quranic word " Thakeb " gives the two meanings . Scientists use many words to describe these pulsars but the Holy Quran use just two words that imply all the characteristics of the pulsar .

The rest of the holy verse adds a new unseen fact , it states that every one of us has angels , these angels write down what man does , nothing could escape them . So fast are they , their fastness associates harmoniously with the fastness of pulsars that reach up to one thousand rotations per second . Everyone will be reckoned for every thing .In another verse God says what means says "When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, And the Earth throws up her burdens (from within), And man cries (distressed): What is the matter with her? On that Day will she declare her tidings: For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the Deeds that they (had done). Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it."

In another verse God says what means says " Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it). "

In another verse God says what means says "That man can have nothing but what he strives for"

In another word God what means says "O ye who believe! Fear God, and let every soul look to what (provision) he has sent forth for the morrow. Yea, fear God: for God is well acquainted with (all) that ye do."

And now :

Having read this article ,one should ask himself these questions :

How did prophet Mohummed , who was unlettered ,know this amazing fact that has been discovered recently ?

How did he know this very specific feature of this star?

How could he , if he was imposter , talk about these facts that science will give its opinion about later ?

The Answer is: "It is God , the creator , the All-knowing, Who reveasled facts in the Holy Quran.

When one reads this miracle and the all the other miracles in the Holy Quran , one must believe in the Holy Quran as God's final word to the world.

Do you still need proves that Islam is God's final word?

What is sworn on in this verse?

Man doesn't stand alone in this life ; that is what the rest of the verse implies ; the swore by a sensible object for something unseen : Man was created in this life to know God and to worship Him

Things in Koran Explained by Time

Things in Koran Explained by Time

Question: were there in the Koran and Sunnah any references to the inventions we see today or those we know nothing about yet?

This question is answered by:

Dr. Muhammad Abraham Dodah

Researcher in the International

Commission on Scientific Signs of Qur'an & Sunnah in the holy city of Makka

Translated By Bayan Taleb

Revised By Magdy Abd Al-Shafy

All praise be to Allah, and Allah's peace and blessing be upon his messenger; as for what follows:

The Holy Koran is a book guiding to the belief in Allah; it is not human –made book aiming at or assuming invention and technical creativity. The Koran task is to correct the extraneous beliefs in the methods of the messengers of Allah to confirm Allah's oneness; this is the main purpose of calling to look in the universe for proofs of the Koran authenticity  and evidence to  the greatness and oneness of Allah so that human would reach certainty, as Allah the Exalted said in the Holy Koran what means: ( Say: "Behold all that is in the heavens and the earth,") Yunus 101, and his saying what means: (Do they not look in the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all things that Allah has created, and that it may be that the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will they then believe?) Al-A'raf 185.

But the call for looking and meditating on the universe, working the mind and inventing had put the basics for the experimental method; one of its fruits was that it motivated the energies and sharpened the minds to build an international civilization whose terms are still in use to date in astronomy, algebra, and chemistry at the time when Europe was groping its way in the darkness of ignorance and illusion.

The communityin which the revelation was sent was not prepared to assimilate facts that humanity was not able to scientifically and empirically ascertain until centuries after the revelation. That is why scientific references in the Hadith were not as many as the Holy , they abundantly came in the Holy Koran; these references were kept for the next generations to examine and ascertain in order to make sure of the revelation and to confirm the message of monotheism; they gave an absolute promise we see coming true today, as Allah the Almighty said: (We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their own selves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Qur'an) is the truth. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things?) Fusilat 53, and also Allah said: (And say [(O Muhammad SAW) to these polytheists and pagans etc.]: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah. He will show you His signs and you shall recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.") Al-Namal 93. To say that Muslims or non-Muslims will see these references and signs means that the promise will come true whether they discovered the truth or some one else discovered it earlier. So, there is no room to raise the question that mixes between taking what is discovered as a proof on the revelation, or taking what is mentioned in the Koran as a sign for what will be discovered, why would Muslims wait for others to discover the scientific facts and then realize the revelation reference afterwards?

Even though, ??

I will fulfill your wish concerning the technical advancement in the Koran with an example: at the time when we look – during winter- for fuel for heating, the Koran talks a lot about us being on a thin floating layer over gigantic vortex of blazing magma and an everlasting source of energy right under our feet; don’t you see that the energy problem in the world is completely solved once and for all! This blazing furnace can be reached by a metal pipe full of water in areas that are not too deep like Medina, transmuting it to steam can produce electricity for free which can be stored and is enough to transform the Arab peninsula into a green heaven. If this came true then it is an inspiration and the evidence on revelation is the Koran preceding the truth before it is discovered, at least this is what I think.

One of the references to the future technology is the talk about what we consider now modern transportations that are similar to the animals used in the time of revelation, Allah Almighty says in the Koran what means: (And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning. And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful. And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all) Al-Nahal 5-9. Our sign here is (And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge) during talking about several means of transportation (horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride); The verb creates is in present referring to renewal, which gives no limit to the means of transportation to be invented ; when you relax and sit in your chair today in a car, ship, or plan remember that you are sitting on an evidence of the revelation of Koran.

God says in the Holy Quran what means (And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge) Al-Moraghe commented on this verse saying there is an implicit reference to that  which science leads our minds to invent, such as land and sea vehicles, airplanes that carry your luggage from one country to another, air balloons, submarines, and such things that raise wonder and replace horses, mules and donkeys that were used for ride and as an adornment (1)

Ibn Ashur , a Koran exegesis scientist said: "it seems to me that this verse is one of the Koran supernatural scientific miracles; it is a sign to the fact that Allah will inspire humans to invent vehicles more useful than horses, mules, and donkeys such as these wheels that a person may ride and move with his legs, the convoys of trains and cars, and then the airplanes that fly using filtered oil; all these are creations (inventions) that people before didn't know of. Allah inspiring people to invent them is linked to Allah's creation; Allah inspired inventors and gave them intelligence and science, made them progress and learn from each other, so these inventions are Allah's creation because they are Allah's blessings " (2)

Al-Shankiti said: "in Allah's the Exalted saying (And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge), the Great and Almighty said in this holy verse that Allah will create things the addressees won't know when, ???, and did not explain anything here, but mentioning this while talking about being grateful for vehicles refers to the fact that some of these are means of transportation. This was witnessed when Allah blessed humanitywith vehicles that were not know at the time when this verse was revealed such as airplanes, trains, and cars; this is supported by the messenger (peace be upon him) reference to it in an authentic Hadith, on the authority of Moslem Bin Hajaj (may Allah have mercy upon him) in his authentic Hadith book.. on the authority of Abe Huraira, the messenger of Allah said: "The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya taxand would leave the young she-camel and no one would endeavor to (collect Zakat on it)..... . Our evidence here in this authentic hadith is the prophet's saying: (and would leave the young she-camel and no one would endeavor to), the prophet swore that camels won't be used; this is seen now that they were replaced with the mentioned vehicles. This Hadith is a great miracle that proves his prophethood, even though his miracles (may Allah's mercy and peace be upon him) were innumerable" (3). The Alusi said: "changing to the future form is an indication of continuity and renewal… ??" (4). Al-Zarkashi said: "concerning the adjectives, you start with the best like saying the princess stood, then his deputy and his clerk… horses were mentioned at first because they are better that mules, then came the mentioning of mules and then donkeys" (5).

More examples of this is God's saying in the Holy Quran what means : (So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; And by the moon when it is at the full, You shall certainly travel from stage to stage. What is the matter with them, that they believe not? And when the Koran is recited to them, they fall not prostrate) Al-Inshiqaq 16-21. I will free my imagination with you and make it create a vision that examines the unknown; these night phenomena are familiar observations: first the afterglow, then the rise of the celestial bodies, and finally the full moon which is the purest of the beautiful stages of the moon. You feel in the succession of these phenomena a movement indicated by the order; afterglow (aurora ) is at sunset, then when the night comes you see the celestial bodies filling the sky before you get attracted by the beauty of the moon; but what comes after the night? It is the sun shining beautifully overcoming the moon. That is how a fact will be cleared confirmed by the Holy Koran in an implied simile of the sun in the middle of the day: (You shall certainly travel from stage to stage), traveling requires carrying, traveling, moving, and immigrating, as Allah the Exalted said: (horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride), and his saying: (Allah, it is He Who has made cattle for you, that you may ride onsome of them and of some you eat. And you have (many other) benefits from them, and that you may reach by their means a desire that is in your breasts (i.e. carry your goods, loads, etc.), and on them and on ships you are carried.) Ghafer 79-80. What is amazing is that the round shape similar to a plate is indeed the shape that establishes stability in space to recover by the rotating the lack of gravity. The first space city was designed in the shape of a rotating plate with its houses and farms on the sides and the doors are ascended to towards the protected ceiling from the glow with metal covers; the residences will live in luxury without any disturbances such as earthquakes, rodents, and epidemics. You want to object? This is what I wanted to reach with you, just be satisfied with examining the revelation signs that became facts in your time and let coming generations see what isn't revealed yet; or do you want to enjoy something that amazed the most eloquent ones and captured the minds of thinkers through out the ages? then set you imagination free to imagine a world of luxury and decoration that earth cannot handle and is similar to what would happen in space cities, listen to the Exalted the Almighty saying: (Is it they who would portion out the Mercy of your Lord? It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in this world, and We raised some of them above others in ranks, so that some may employ others in their work. But the Mercy (Paradise) of your Lord (O Muhammad SAW) is better than the (wealth of this world) which they amass. And were it not that all mankind would have become of one community (all disbelievers, desiring worldly life only), We would have provided for those who disbelieve in the Most Beneficent (Allah), silver roofs for their houses, and elevators (and stair-ways, etc. of silver) whereby they ascend, And for their houses, doors (of silver), and thrones (of silver) on which they could recline, And adornments of gold. Yet all this (i.e. the roofs, doors, stairs, elevators, thrones etc. of their houses) would have been nothing but an enjoyment of this world. And the Hereafter with your Lord is only for the pious.). Al-Zughruf 32-35. The hadith is like the Holy Koran, it came promising a spatial civilization and the spread of Islam until reaching the celestial bodies, on the authority of Abe Umama that the messenger of Allah pbuh said: (By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, the days and nights won't be finished until this religion (Islam) reaches this star). (6)

The Koran is full with this kind of promises which lots of them came true now as evidence of the revelation; let me share my thoughts with you and contemplate over this verse, Allah the Exalted said: (Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit. Is it you who create it (i.e. make this semen into a perfect human being), or are We the Creator? We have decreed death to you all, and We are not unable, To transfigure you and create you in (forms) that you know not.). AL-Wakia'a 58-61. What does the promise of the technology of creating humans out of sperm or without it in unconventional circumstances with an unprecedented way and creating different generations with varied qualities even if they looked similar to normal humans?Don’t you find this question strange and full of wild imagination; it is influenced by the scientific revolution we are living today in the field of genetics and changing the genes with better ones, and the human synthesis research. Didn't I previously tell you that there is a difference between the scientific reference that indeed became a fact and the wild imagination without any evidence yet?!

When Allah's book ,the Koran , talks about civilizations that were on earth and were perished long time before it was revealed, this talk came in the absent form of wording in Allah the Exalted saying: (by no means will they escape (from Allah's torment) on earth) Hud 20. and indeed all of them were on earth before the age of space; but when talking about civilizations in the future until the day of resurrection, it didn't limit them to earth, Allah the Exalted said in the Koran what means: (and you can't escape in the earth or the heaven) Al-Ankabut 22. This is a special dazzling addition to future civilizations (or the heaven). The meaning of the previous verse was revealed by the frantic scientific revolution ,we are living today in the age of space which is evidently signify that this Koran is revealed from the lord of earth and heaven; otherwise, how could Muhammad, who is an illiterate living in an illiterate nation, to know about this centuries before the age of space?!

Thus, the proofs to the revelation of the Holy Koran are being revealed and certified, Allah the Exalted the Almighty says: (but your people (O Muhammad) have denied it (the Koran) though it is the truth. Say: "I'm not responsible for your affairs". For every deed there is a recompense and you will come to know). Al-An'am 66-67.
