A Response to “The Christian Response”
| ||
To “The Common Word between You and Us”. The main conflict between Islam and Christianity: By: Salama Abdelhady, Ph.D. Dear colleagues of Yale Center for Faith and Culture, thank you for your impressing reply to the 138 Muslim Scholars. However, as a response to your response and specifically to your claim of the conflicts between Islam and Christianity, I write this letter: Islam and Christianity are two monotheistic religions for the guidance of people to worship Allah and to fear the day of resurrection. Muslims believe in Jesus(as a prophet) and that he was lifted alive. However, the source of all conflicts between both religions and even the source of all dogmas in Christianity is Jesus Crucifixion as a Way for Salvation. Concerning this event, Muslims have a statement that contradicts the Christian’s statement. Muslim’s statement is in accordance to the following a verse in the Holy Quran: And because of their saying (the Jews in boast) “We Killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah, but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but THE RESEMBLANCE OF JESUS WAS PUT OVER ANOTHER MAN, and they killed that man. Those who differ therein are full of DOUPTS. They have no certain knowledge, i.e. they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely, as Word of Allah, they killed him not (Al-Nissa, 157) So, according to this verse, the Christ was not the one who was crucified. But instead, a man who had been dressed his shape was crucified in his place. Now let us discuss, as Muslims, the truth of this statement and the fuzziness of the contradicting statement. 1.As Muslims, we trust in the truth of every word of the Holy Quran, as a really revealed book from Allah to His prophet Mohamed through the spirit of Holiness, the Angel Gabriel. No word in this Quran has been seen to contradict all scientific discoveries. The nature of the earth as a sphere was stated in the Quran since more than 14 centuries in miraculous wording. There are hundreds of proofs. However, let us read verses (4-6) from a Surah in the Holy Quran (Surah Number 39) which states many scientific and logical facts: {4] Had Allah wished to take to Himself a son, He could have chosen whom He pleased (some higher creations) out of those whom He doth create (not from human beings as weak and defected creatures): but Glory be to Him! (He is above such things.) He is Allah, the One, and the Irresistible. [5] He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): He makes the Night overlap spherically the Day, and the Day overlap spherically the Night: He has subjected the sun and the moon (to His law) each one follows a course of motion for a time appointed. Is not He the Exalted in Power, He Who forgives again and again? 6] He created you (all) from a single Person: then created, of like nature, his mate; and He sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs (their designs): He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre of the straight path)? 2.The conclusions of meetings of 200 theologians, Liberal theologians investigating the life of Jesus, in their published document under the title “Jesus Seminar” is leading to expect a degree of fuzziness in the Bible’s statements. In addition, a published article concerning the trust of the Catholic Church in the Bible is increasing also such expectations: Catholic Church no longer swears by truth of the Bible", By Ruth Gledhill, Religion Correspondent, timesonline. The Jehovah witnesses, a Christian church, assure that the Romans were not crucifying their victims. 3.Twoo Gospels only described the scene of Jesus Crucifixion and record his loud cry as follows: Eloi, Eloi, Lema sabachtani, (according to English Copies of the Bible), Eloi, Eloi, Lema asabtani (according to German copies of the Bible). As noted, both cries used a different slang than that of Jesus. It is near to the Arabic-Hebrew slang that was used by the residents of southern areas of Palestine in these times. Eloi or Elhij in Arabic-Hebrew means my God, as stated. Lema means also Why in Arabic-Hebrew as stated the written translations. But sabachtanic, according to English copy, does not mean forsaken me, but it means pigmented me. Sabcha (or sabgcha) means a pigment. Asabtani, according to the German copies, also doesn’t mean forsaken me, but it means hurt me or shock me. So, there is a doubt concerning the man on the Cross because he used different language than that of Jesus, he is blaming God to be pigmented (may be by another shape) or hurt in some way. Finally, he is crying loudly in a completely different manner than that of Jesus to declare that he is another pigmented man. So, this scene is evidence to the fuzziness of Jesus Crucifixion. Someone claim that this sentence is a part of the Psalms. However, it not found there. And can you imagine a crying man may sing a song. 4.There is no hint or comment in any of the four Gospels that the mission of Jesus had to do any thing with Jesus Crucifixion and the related dogmas as the Cross, the Salvation, the great sin, the Body of the church, the hypostases, the priesthood and its secrets and grades, the trinity or any of the added dogmas after the ascention of Jesus. However, as the core of Jesus Crucifixion was salvation and saving the people from their father’s sin, it would be expected a statement from Jesus to assure the noble objective of such mission. And if his mission was the Salvation by being cursed on the cross, according to Saint Paul, why was he crying and blaming His God on the cross? Absence of any hint in the four Gospels to the Crucifixion increases the fuzziness of these dogmas. 5.According to the Bible, the only one who commented Jesus Crucifixion and drew many dogmas concerning such event was Saint Paul. However, he stated a condition for accepting the power of the cross. This condition was found in 1 Corinthians 1, as follows: The Message of the Cross: 1:18 for the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1:19 For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will thwart the cleverness of the intelligent.”21 So, the faith in a cross is foolishness unless the God would destroy wisdom and intelligence. However, Saint Paul claimed that it is written that God would destroy the wisdom and intelligence. But No one had found such writings in the Bible. It is hard also to believe that it may happen. It is written that the God is wise and he gifted such wisdom to selected people as Solomon, prophets, disciples and others too. As Saint Paul has a bad history before his claimed meeting with the God, he was not one of Jesus disciples and he was also the only one who glorifies the cross and gave great importance to the crucifixion after Jesus lift increase the fuzziness of the Christians statement. 6.According to Judas Gospel, the last found Gospel near Al-Menya, Egypt in 1975 and translated by the Geographic Society, in this Gospel, and near to its end, Jesus said to Judas, “Truly I say, But you will exceed all of them. For you will sacrifice the man that clothes me. , Already your horn has been raised, your wrath has been kindled, your star has shown brightly, and your heart has […]. [57]. Considering this sentence “THE MAN THAT CLOTHES ME’, It is in agreement with the previously mentioned verse in the Quran which tells that Jesus was not crucified but God made ANOTHER MAN TO RESEMBLE HIM. So, the man on the cross was not Jesus but he was Judas as a sacrifice to his trading of Jesus. This explains the difference in language of the man on the cross and that of Jesus. It also explains how Jesus visited his disciples in his manhood-nature and asked them to touch his body and ate with them just after Judas crucifixion. It also explains the disappearance of Judas after the crucifixion where it was claimed that he threw the silver coins and hanged himself. (Matthew:27:5 So7 Judas threw the silver coins into the temple and left. Then he went out and hanged himself”. So such found Gospel and its offered explanations lead us to believe in the truth of the Muslims statement. 7.Starting from the Wisdom and Intelligence, let us find a wise answer to these questions: how the Wise Creator who create such magnificent universe and give it such wise order put his power to an idol as the cross? Why does he glorify this idol in such holy manner? How His Wisdom can adopt such idol and make it a sign for His salvation? I think as Saint Paul had stated, it is conditioned by destroying the wisdom and intelligence. As there is a remaining wisdom and intelligence in the world, the Christians statement is still a fuzzy one. As Muslims, we offered the proof of the truth of our statement that Jesus was not crucified nor killed, but he was lifted alive, as the Quran stated. The Quran and Judas Gospel prove that there is another person, Judas, who was crucified instead after he was dressed by Jesus resemblance to look similar to him. Jesus crucifixion and its related dogmas represent the main conflict between the Muslims and Christians. The absence of similar dogmas in Islam, make the Islam a religion of logic (or Fitra). In Islam we believe by the pure logic, as stated in the Quran, by the existence of One God, Allah. There is no priesthood in Islam, no secrets, no cross, no Saints nor Bishops and no Ghosts nor hypostases. Mohamed is a man ,who received a message from one God. The Quran is revealed to him and he behaved to be a model for any Moslem according to this Quran. It guides us to the mercy of God on earth and to a good eternal life after death if we obey its orders. They claim that we go to Kabba to kiss a holy stone. Such claim is incorrect since no one believes that this stone has any holiness or power. It is just a stone and we may kiss it as Mohamed did and to express our obedience. Our visit to Kabba is a visit to the first place in which the God was worshipped on the earth. It is placed in Paran desert where Abram worshipped God and obeyed Him and left there his wife, Hagar, and their son, Ishmael. Ishmael is the grandfather of Kadar and the prophet Mohamed. Ishmael also was sacrificed by a lamp in such Paran desert (Arafat Mountains) which is the place of Muslim’s pilgrimage. As a summary, we have no dogmas in Islam. Bypassing the crucifixion as an introducing dogma to many other dogmas in Christianity, this will pave the straight path to the true Common Word between Us. Things in Koran Explained by Time
| ||
Question: were there in the Koran and Sunnah any references to the inventions we see today or those we know nothing about yet? This question is answered by: Dr. Muhammad Abraham Dodah Researcher in the International Commission on Scientific Signs of Qur'an & Sunnah in the holy city of Makka Translated By Bayan Taleb Revised By Magdy Abd Al-Shafy All praise be to Allah, and Allah's peace and blessing be upon his messenger; as for what follows: The Holy Koran is a book guiding to the belief in Allah; it is not human –made book aiming at or assuming invention and technical creativity. The Koran task is to correct the extraneous beliefs in the methods of the messengers of Allah to confirm Allah's oneness; this is the main purpose of calling to look in the universe for proofs of the Koran authenticity and evidence to the greatness and oneness of Allah so that human would reach certainty, as Allah the Exalted said in the Holy Koran what means: ( Say: "Behold all that is in the heavens and the earth,") Yunus 101, and his saying what means: (Do they not look in the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all things that Allah has created, and that it may be that the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will they then believe?) Al-A'raf 185. But the call for looking and meditating on the universe, working the mind and inventing had put the basics for the experimental method; one of its fruits was that it motivated the energies and sharpened the minds to build an international civilization whose terms are still in use to date in astronomy, algebra, and chemistry at the time when Europe was groping its way in the darkness of ignorance and illusion. The communityin which the revelation was sent was not prepared to assimilate facts that humanity was not able to scientifically and empirically ascertain until centuries after the revelation. That is why scientific references in the Hadith were not as many as the Holy , they abundantly came in the Holy Koran; these references were kept for the next generations to examine and ascertain in order to make sure of the revelation and to confirm the message of monotheism; they gave an absolute promise we see coming true today, as Allah the Almighty said: (We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their own selves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Qur'an) is the truth. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things?) Fusilat 53, and also Allah said: (And say [(O Muhammad SAW) to these polytheists and pagans etc.]: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah. He will show you His signs and you shall recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.") Al-Namal 93. To say that Muslims or non-Muslims will see these references and signs means that the promise will come true whether they discovered the truth or some one else discovered it earlier. So, there is no room to raise the question that mixes between taking what is discovered as a proof on the revelation, or taking what is mentioned in the Koran as a sign for what will be discovered, why would Muslims wait for others to discover the scientific facts and then realize the revelation reference afterwards? Even though, ?? I will fulfill your wish concerning the technical advancement in the Koran with an example: at the time when we look – during winter- for fuel for heating, the Koran talks a lot about us being on a thin floating layer over gigantic vortex of blazing magma and an everlasting source of energy right under our feet; don’t you see that the energy problem in the world is completely solved once and for all! This blazing furnace can be reached by a metal pipe full of water in areas that are not too deep like Medina, transmuting it to steam can produce electricity for free which can be stored and is enough to transform the Arab peninsula into a green heaven. If this came true then it is an inspiration and the evidence on revelation is the Koran preceding the truth before it is discovered, at least this is what I think. One of the references to the future technology is the talk about what we consider now modern transportations that are similar to the animals used in the time of revelation, Allah Almighty says in the Koran what means: (And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning. And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful. And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all) Al-Nahal 5-9. Our sign here is (And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge) during talking about several means of transportation (horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride); The verb creates is in present referring to renewal, which gives no limit to the means of transportation to be invented ; when you relax and sit in your chair today in a car, ship, or plan remember that you are sitting on an evidence of the revelation of Koran. God says in the Holy Quran what means (And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge) Al-Moraghe commented on this verse saying there is an implicit reference to that which science leads our minds to invent, such as land and sea vehicles, airplanes that carry your luggage from one country to another, air balloons, submarines, and such things that raise wonder and replace horses, mules and donkeys that were used for ride and as an adornment (1) Ibn Ashur , a Koran exegesis scientist said: "it seems to me that this verse is one of the Koran supernatural scientific miracles; it is a sign to the fact that Allah will inspire humans to invent vehicles more useful than horses, mules, and donkeys such as these wheels that a person may ride and move with his legs, the convoys of trains and cars, and then the airplanes that fly using filtered oil; all these are creations (inventions) that people before didn't know of. Allah inspiring people to invent them is linked to Allah's creation; Allah inspired inventors and gave them intelligence and science, made them progress and learn from each other, so these inventions are Allah's creation because they are Allah's blessings " (2) Al-Shankiti said: "in Allah's the Exalted saying (And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge), the Great and Almighty said in this holy verse that Allah will create things the addressees won't know when, ???, and did not explain anything here, but mentioning this while talking about being grateful for vehicles refers to the fact that some of these are means of transportation. This was witnessed when Allah blessed humanitywith vehicles that were not know at the time when this verse was revealed such as airplanes, trains, and cars; this is supported by the messenger (peace be upon him) reference to it in an authentic Hadith, on the authority of Moslem Bin Hajaj (may Allah have mercy upon him) in his authentic Hadith book.. on the authority of Abe Huraira, the messenger of Allah said: "The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya taxand would leave the young she-camel and no one would endeavor to (collect Zakat on it)..... . Our evidence here in this authentic hadith is the prophet's saying: (and would leave the young she-camel and no one would endeavor to), the prophet swore that camels won't be used; this is seen now that they were replaced with the mentioned vehicles. This Hadith is a great miracle that proves his prophethood, even though his miracles (may Allah's mercy and peace be upon him) were innumerable" (3). The Alusi said: "changing to the future form is an indication of continuity and renewal… ??" (4). Al-Zarkashi said: "concerning the adjectives, you start with the best like saying the princess stood, then his deputy and his clerk… horses were mentioned at first because they are better that mules, then came the mentioning of mules and then donkeys" (5). More examples of this is God's saying in the Holy Quran what means : (So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; And by the moon when it is at the full, You shall certainly travel from stage to stage. What is the matter with them, that they believe not? And when the Koran is recited to them, they fall not prostrate) Al-Inshiqaq 16-21. I will free my imagination with you and make it create a vision that examines the unknown; these night phenomena are familiar observations: first the afterglow, then the rise of the celestial bodies, and finally the full moon which is the purest of the beautiful stages of the moon. You feel in the succession of these phenomena a movement indicated by the order; afterglow (aurora ) is at sunset, then when the night comes you see the celestial bodies filling the sky before you get attracted by the beauty of the moon; but what comes after the night? It is the sun shining beautifully overcoming the moon. That is how a fact will be cleared confirmed by the Holy Koran in an implied simile of the sun in the middle of the day: (You shall certainly travel from stage to stage), traveling requires carrying, traveling, moving, and immigrating, as Allah the Exalted said: (horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride), and his saying: (Allah, it is He Who has made cattle for you, that you may ride onsome of them and of some you eat. And you have (many other) benefits from them, and that you may reach by their means a desire that is in your breasts (i.e. carry your goods, loads, etc.), and on them and on ships you are carried.) Ghafer 79-80. What is amazing is that the round shape similar to a plate is indeed the shape that establishes stability in space to recover by the rotating the lack of gravity. The first space city was designed in the shape of a rotating plate with its houses and farms on the sides and the doors are ascended to towards the protected ceiling from the glow with metal covers; the residences will live in luxury without any disturbances such as earthquakes, rodents, and epidemics. You want to object? This is what I wanted to reach with you, just be satisfied with examining the revelation signs that became facts in your time and let coming generations see what isn't revealed yet; or do you want to enjoy something that amazed the most eloquent ones and captured the minds of thinkers through out the ages? then set you imagination free to imagine a world of luxury and decoration that earth cannot handle and is similar to what would happen in space cities, listen to the Exalted the Almighty saying: (Is it they who would portion out the Mercy of your Lord? It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in this world, and We raised some of them above others in ranks, so that some may employ others in their work. But the Mercy (Paradise) of your Lord (O Muhammad SAW) is better than the (wealth of this world) which they amass. And were it not that all mankind would have become of one community (all disbelievers, desiring worldly life only), We would have provided for those who disbelieve in the Most Beneficent (Allah), silver roofs for their houses, and elevators (and stair-ways, etc. of silver) whereby they ascend, And for their houses, doors (of silver), and thrones (of silver) on which they could recline, And adornments of gold. Yet all this (i.e. the roofs, doors, stairs, elevators, thrones etc. of their houses) would have been nothing but an enjoyment of this world. And the Hereafter with your Lord is only for the pious.). Al-Zughruf 32-35. The hadith is like the Holy Koran, it came promising a spatial civilization and the spread of Islam until reaching the celestial bodies, on the authority of Abe Umama that the messenger of Allah pbuh said: (By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, the days and nights won't be finished until this religion (Islam) reaches this star). (6) The Koran is full with this kind of promises which lots of them came true now as evidence of the revelation; let me share my thoughts with you and contemplate over this verse, Allah the Exalted said: (Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit. Is it you who create it (i.e. make this semen into a perfect human being), or are We the Creator? We have decreed death to you all, and We are not unable, To transfigure you and create you in (forms) that you know not.). AL-Wakia'a 58-61. What does the promise of the technology of creating humans out of sperm or without it in unconventional circumstances with an unprecedented way and creating different generations with varied qualities even if they looked similar to normal humans?Don’t you find this question strange and full of wild imagination; it is influenced by the scientific revolution we are living today in the field of genetics and changing the genes with better ones, and the human synthesis research. Didn't I previously tell you that there is a difference between the scientific reference that indeed became a fact and the wild imagination without any evidence yet?! When Allah's book ,the Koran , talks about civilizations that were on earth and were perished long time before it was revealed, this talk came in the absent form of wording in Allah the Exalted saying: (by no means will they escape (from Allah's torment) on earth) Hud 20. and indeed all of them were on earth before the age of space; but when talking about civilizations in the future until the day of resurrection, it didn't limit them to earth, Allah the Exalted said in the Koran what means: (and you can't escape in the earth or the heaven) Al-Ankabut 22. This is a special dazzling addition to future civilizations (or the heaven). The meaning of the previous verse was revealed by the frantic scientific revolution ,we are living today in the age of space which is evidently signify that this Koran is revealed from the lord of earth and heaven; otherwise, how could Muhammad, who is an illiterate living in an illiterate nation, to know about this centuries before the age of space?! Thus, the proofs to the revelation of the Holy Koran are being revealed and certified, Allah the Exalted the Almighty says: (but your people (O Muhammad) have denied it (the Koran) though it is the truth. Say: "I'm not responsible for your affairs". For every deed there is a recompense and you will come to know). Al-An'am 66-67. The Jews
| ||
By Dr. Abdul-Rahman Ash-areef Translation: Nassim Jamal-Eddin Dhaher Revised by : Magdy Abd Alshafy Jews have traits that are rarely found in someone else, and due to their extreme danger, the Quran has singled a large space about them -not given to someone other than them. A Muslim has no excuse to be tricked by them despite all of what was said about them in The Noble Quran from warning that was proved by history, current seen and heard events. You can't find any characteristic of the Jews mentioned in The Noble Quran not proved by tens of evident proofs from ancient and modern history, Glory to Allah, the Magnificent, and The Sublime. Some Characteristics of Jews: 1. Knowledge of truth, covering it up, and keeping it amongst themselves. Allah the Exalted says: "And when they fall in with those who believe, they say: We believe. But when they go apart one with another they say: Prate ye to them of that which Allah hath disclosed to you that they may contend with you before your Lord concerning it? Have ye then no sense? " Surah 2, Al-Baqara (The Cow), verse 76 2-.Extremely miser and this has been noticed by everyone who has dealt directly with them, and even those who were involved with them in the so-called “Peace Talks”. Allah The Exalted says “Or have they even a share in the Sovereignty? Then in that case, they would not give mankind even the speck on a date stone (naqeer)”. Surah 4, An-nisaa (The Women), verse 54 3. Overly abusive to others’ money without any right through interest, scam, and other forms of fraudulent acts, and the Jews are the leaders in this aspect. Allah The Exalted says: “And thou seest many of them vying one with another in sin and transgression and their devouring of illicit gain. Verily evil is what they do.” Surah 5, Al-Maida, verse 62 And he also said: “O ye, who believe! Lo! many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks devour the wealth of mankind wantonly and debar (men) from the way of Allah. They who hoard up gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah, unto them give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom”. Surah 9, At-Taubah, verse 34 And yet another verse about the same topic: “And of their taking usury when they were forbidden it, and of their devouring people's wealth by false pretences. We have prepared for those of them who disbelieve a painful doom.” Surah 5, An-Nisaa, verse 161 4. Their extreme cowardice, and for this they have isolated themselves throughout history in places that lack a good quality of life like ghettos. Allah the Exalted says about this topic: “And thou wilt find them greediest of mankind for life and (greedier) than the idolaters. (Each) one of them would like to be allowed to live a thousand years. And to live (a thousand years) would by no means remove him from the doom. Allah is Seer of what they do.” Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, verse 96 What is important for them is to live a life, regardless of the type of life. It was told by many Arabian fighters how the jewish soldiers used to be tied in chains by their in-charge officers inside their tanks so they won’t run away during their battles against the Arabs. Allah says in the Quran in a situation similar to this that occurred with Prophet Moses: “They said: O Moses! We will never enter (the land) while they are in it. So go thou and thy Lord and fight! We will sit here.”Surah 5. Al-Maidah, verse 24 They have even invented fortified colonies and kibutzes and even The Seperation Wall. Allah says in regards to this: “They will not fight against you in a body save in fortified villages or from behind walls. Their adversity among themselves is very great. Ye think of them as a whole whereas their hearts are divers. That is because they are a folk who have no sense.” Surah 59. Al-Hashr, verse 14 5.Their betrayal of covenants, and they are the owners of the phrase: “there aren’t holy vows”. Many a times the Palestinian Negotiating Team complained about having to renegotiate issues already agreed upon, and then having to renegotiate what has been renegotiated and so forth… Allah says to this regard: “Is it ever so that when ye make a covenant a party of you set it aside? The truth is, most of them believe not.” Surah 2. Al-Baqara, verse 100 6.Falsification of the truth whether it was written, heard or read. There are examples where this happened in real life such as the case when they accused an ambulance of transporting rockets, and another case when they accused Hezbollah of sinking an Egyptian ship on the coast of Tripoli, Lebanon. Allah the axalted says: “Some of those who are Jews change words from their context and say: "We hear and disobey; hear thou as one who heareth not" and "Listen to us!" distorting with their tongues and slandering religion. If they had said: "We hear and we obey; hear thou, and look at us" it had been better for them, and more upright. But Allah hath cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, save a few.”Surah 4. An-Nisaa, verse 64 7Corruption in the lands, and due to this they are the most troublemaking according to statistics and polls. Allah says in this regard: “And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the scripture: Ye verily will work corruption in the earth twice, and ye will become great tyrants.”Surah 17. Al-Israa (Bani Israel), verse 4 8.Their killing of scholars, religious figures and good people. Allah says: “Lo! those who disbelieve the revelations of Allah, and slay the Prophets wrongfully, and slay those of mankind who enjoin equity: promise them a painful doom.” Surah 3. Al-Imran, verse 21 Allah the Majestic Who has always said the truth in what He said and what he said about the Jews will fulfill His promise in which He says: “Fain would they put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah disdaineth (aught) save that He shall perfect .His light, however much the disbelievers are averse.” Surah 9. At-Tauba, verse 32 For more information: Dr Abdur-Raheem Ashareef |
